    In May the company CTL Logistics GmbH achieved the best transport result ever in the German market, exceeding 313,000 tonnes of transported goods, haulage work at the level of 104.8 mln tkm.

    The CTL Logistics Group celebrates the 20th anniversary of its activity. The formal celebrations took place on 4th October in the Soho Factory in Warsaw.

    The CTL Logistics is a leader of private railway carriers in Poland. According to the data of the Office of Rail Transport, the CTL Logistics Group took the 2nd place in Poland in transport work, performing 3.8 billion ton-kilometres, and the 3th place when it comes to the tonnage of the carried materials,
    reaching 16.5 million tons.

    The first private railway transport between Poland and Belarus. The CTL Logistics group reaches the position of an international logistic concern in the region of the Central and Eastern Europe.

    The development of intermodal transportation. The CTL Logistics, together with its Belarusian partner, launches a bulk terminal in Bruges, under the name of BielPolLogistics company.

    The CTL Logistics carried 1.07 million tons of cargo in one month, with an average transport distance of 310 km. The first time in the history of the company, the monthly tonnage exceeded one million tons.

    The Private Equity Bridgepoint Fund becomes a strategic shareholder of the CTL Logistics Group.

  • 2006

    Beside the CTL Rail (2004), the specialized carriers of the Group (CTL Train, CTL Express, X-Train, and CTL Reggio) start their activity.

    The CTL, as the first private carrier, enters the territory of Ukraine with its own train to Mostiska, carrying coke to steel mills in Ukraine and Romania.

    The CTL Logistics, together with a German company RAIL4CHEM, launches the first private international freight train between Poland and Germany.

  • 2003

    As a pioneer of the development of private railway, the company collects its own rolling stock; for example, it purchases ET22 electric engines in Morocco and transports them by sea from Casablanca to Poland.

  • 2001

    The CTL obtains a license for the transport of non-bulk goods, and begins the activity of a private logistic operator. The first transport takes place within the network of the CTL Maczki-Bór.

    The expansion in the chemical industry and in the service of railway sidings. A trade network in Poland, Netherlands, Germany, and Russia is created as well as custom agencies at border crossings and in ports.

    A dynamic development of shipping activity under the slogan: “NO LIMITS!". The company is honoured in a prestigious ranking of the 500 most important service companies in Poland.

    The CTL Group starts its activity in logistics, initially under the company name of Vector-Union, then as Chem Trans Logistic.
